It is a member of the SK Group, a conglomerate of companies that develops as well as manufactures military products for governmental entities, armies and law enforcement agencies worldwide. The company is situated in the center of Israel. Currently, it is a leading name in small arms and manufactures unique weapon systems. These adhere to stringent military (MIL-STD and ISO 9000) standards, and are built for use by military and defense units across the world. Some of the most famous IWI weapon systems are Tavor (bullpup) and Galil Ace (compact) Assault Rifles, UZI SMG or UZI Subm Machine Gun (Mini, Micro and UZI PRO), Negev Light Machine Gun, and Jericho (semi-automatic) pistols.
