Athlon Optics Midas G2 12x50 UHD Binoculars get their name from King Midas, a man of Greek Myth who could turn anything he touched into gold. These rugged, all weather field glasses have truly set the gold standard for Athlons line of binoculars. They come equipped BaK-4 prisms that been given Athlon’s own Enhanced Spectral Prism (ESP) Dielectric coatings. This prism system reflects over 99% of the light into the user’s eyes for a bright picture with accurate color reproduction. In addition, the Midas was designed with a magnesium chassis, which provides the strength of a metal chassis while reducing the weight by 35%.
