.270 Rifles, also known as .270 Winchester, was engineered by Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The cartridge was brought on board as a chambering for the company’s Model 54 bolt-action rifle. It is mostly loaded with a bullet that expands quickly or breaks into pieces in the tissue to render extremely damaging terminal performance.
